What is Elsewhere?
Elsewhere is where the noise fades and the beauty begins. A world away from the everyday, nestled between ancient mountains and quiet luxury, Elsewhere Retreats is our invitation to pause — to taste, to touch, to breathe again.
Born from the belief that rest is a radical act, Elsewhere is a moving sanctuary — a roving home for the curious, the creative, and the well-fed. We gather in places that feel alive: Peru’s sacred valleys, Spain’s hidden coastlines, soon the islands and hillsides of Greece, Turkey, and beyond. Always intimate. Always inspired. Always elsewhere.
Our days are shaped by early morning yoga, slow breakfasts, long table dinners, volcanic hot springs, and sun-warmed skin. Everything we do is intentional — from the wine poured at golden hour to the linens on your bed. It’s a space of ease, of elegance without excess, of nourishment that lingers.
This is not a wellness retreat in the traditional sense. This is about wonder. About taste. About remembering what it means to feel good — in your body, in your surroundings, and in the company you keep.
We move at the speed of nature. We stay where beauty is native. We believe in good food as sacred ritual, in pleasure as purpose, and in travel that leaves you more full, not more tired.
You don’t come to Elsewhere to escape your life. You come to meet it again, newly enchanted.
From Our Founders
We’re Cassie and Hannah — longtime friends, collaborators, and seekers of beautiful places. Cassie is a NYC-based yoga teacher known for her soulful, grounded approach to movement. Hannah is a sommelier and hospitality industry insider who spent years living in Peru, curating off-the-map travel experiences that immersed guests in the culture, cuisine, and rhythm of the land.
After over a decade of friendship we created Elsewhere: a retreat company for the creatively curious, the well-traveled, and the hungry (for both connection and good food).
We wanted to build the kind of experience we could never quite find — where wellness isn’t just about green juice and silence, but about being fully alive. That means yoga that meets you where you are. Chef-driven meals that celebrate local ingredients. Days shaped by immersive cultural experiences — and plenty of free time to explore, rest, laugh, and wander.
Every retreat is an invitation to go deeper: into the landscape, into community, into yourself. No overwhelm, no over-scheduling — just the good stuff.
This is our love letter to meaningful travel.
